Privacy Policy
Effective: April 29, 2026
Kit’s Deals is operated by Private Key Commerce LLC, a Wyoming Limited Liability Company. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
What we collect
- Server logs. When you visit the site, our hosting provider records standard request metadata: IP address, user agent, page visited, response status, timestamps.
- Cookies for bot protection. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect submission forms from abuse. Turnstile sets a small functional cookie required for the challenge to work. We do not set analytics or advertising cookies by default.
- Optional submissions. If you submit a product request through a form on the site, we collect the text you entered and any optional email or note you provided. We never require an email address.
How we use it
- Operate the site and process your submissions.
- Prevent abuse, fraud, and bot activity.
- Comply with legal requirements.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share data with advertisers.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small number of strictly functional cookies, primarily set by Cloudflare for security and bot protection. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies on Kit’s Deals itself.
Affiliate tracking
When you click an affiliate link from Kit’s Deals, the destination retailer — and our affiliate networks (which may include Rakuten Advertising, Impact, and similar partners) — may set cookies on your browser to track the referral and any qualifying purchase. This is how affiliate commissions are credited to us so we can keep the site running. These cookies are set on the retailer’s and the affiliate network’s domains, not on kitsdeals.com, and are governed by their respective privacy practices.
This kind of tracking — where data about your activity on one digital property is used to deliver or attribute advertising on another — is sometimes called Interest-Based Advertising. You can manage or opt out of Interest-Based Advertising via the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out tool, your browser’s tracking-protection settings, or by clearing third-party cookies. Many retailers and affiliate networks also offer their own opt-out controls in their privacy policies.
If we add privacy-preserving analytics on Kit’s Deals (e.g., Plausible) in the future, we will update this policy and disclose it.
Retention
- Server and edge logs: retained for the period set by our hosting provider, typically 30 days.
- Optional emails: retained until you ask us to delete them.
- Submission text: retained while we evaluate it for the watchlist; deleted on request.
Third parties we share data with
- Cloudflare — our hosting and edge provider, which processes requests on our behalf.
- Retailer sites — when you click an affiliate link, your browser navigates to the retailer’s domain and any data exchanged on that page is governed by the retailer’s privacy practices, not ours.
- Law enforcement or regulators when required by valid legal process.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal information we hold about you. Because we collect very little personal data and do not maintain user accounts, in most cases we will not be able to associate a specific request with you. Where we can, we will honor verified rights requests sent to kit@kitsdeals.com.
California privacy rights
This section addresses the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). Kit’s Deals is operated by a small Wyoming LLC that does not currently meet the revenue or volume thresholds that make a business subject to the CCPA. We are nonetheless transparent about what we collect and how California residents can reach us.
Categories of personal information we collect
- Identifiers and internet/network activity: IP address, user agent, page visited, request timestamps — collected through standard server and edge logs.
- Customer records: text you submit through our optional product-request form, plus any optional email or note you choose to provide.
Sale or sharing of personal information
We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as defined under California law. We do not run advertising on Kit’s Deals itself, and we do not share data with advertisers for profiling. When you click an affiliate link, you leave our site for a retailer’s domain — any tracking that happens after that is governed by the retailer’s and the affiliate network’s privacy practices, not ours.
Your rights as a California resident
California residents may have rights to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, request correction, and limit certain uses. To exercise any of these rights, email kit@kitsdeals.com with “California privacy request” in the subject line. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity before fulfilling the request.
You may also designate an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
Children
Kit’s Deals is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Updates
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the effective date above. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
